Meet The Founder: Stephanie Silva

Every great movement starts with one woman’s leap of faith and for Stephanie Silva, that leap came when she walked away from her role as VP of Business Development to start her own company, Advanced Legal Funding LLC.

It wasn’t easy. Leaving a secure career to build something from scratch brought whispers, doubt, and even judgment from people she thought were friends. Some called her “money hungry.” Others suggested she was “taking away her husband’s role as a provider.” But Stephanie knew her truth: her ambition wasn’t about replacing anyone; it was about betting on herself and creating the future she always envisioned.

From college, Stephanie understood that jobs are never guaranteed. She didn’t want to build her life on someone else’s terms or live at the mercy of being “replaceable.” She knew she wanted to own something of her own, something lasting, something hers.

But when her drive wasn’t understood by old friends, it became clear: she needed to surround herself with women who get it. Women who weren’t threatened by ambition. Women who celebrated each other’s wins instead of competing. Women who craved true connection in entrepreneurship. And that’s why she created The Femmepreneur Society; a safe space for women to connect, collaborate, network, and build sisterhood through online and in-person events. Pairing her experience as an online business coach with a passion for community, Stephanie also built in business tools and resources to support women as they grow.

Her belief is simple: if I was looking for entrepreneurial sisterhood, I knew there had to be other women out there looking too. And today, The Femmepreneur Society exists to bring those women together, because we’re stronger when we rise side by side.
